Saturday, October 12, 1985 – Boston Garden

Here are all the results (courtesy of TheHistoryOfWWE.com) from that great night back when I was 14 years old, a freshman in high school (thanks for correcting me on this Ted!). Thanks Dad for taking Barry and me!

Televised on NESN – included Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse Ventura on commentary:
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: King Tonga pinned Mr. X at 10:16 with a side kick to the face and a diving headbutt
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: Cpl. Kirchner pinned Rene Goulet by reversing a powerslam attempt into a small package at 10:26
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: David Sammartino pinned Tiger Chung Lee with a sunset flip at 7:26
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: Barry Windham & SD Jones defeated Iron Mike Sharpe & Barry O 8:03 when Windham pinned Barry with a bulldog
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: Paul Orndorff pinned the Missing Link (w/ Jimmy Hart) at 4:23 with a high knee after the Link was distracted by Hart shouting into his megaphone on the ring apron; this was a $50,000 bounty match in which Link would have won the bounty if he was able to put Orndorff out of action
Terry Funk (w/ Jimmy Hart) pinned the Junkyard Dog at 13:28 after hitting him with the branding iron as the referee was distracted by Hart on the ring apron
WWF Tag Team Champions Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake defeated Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid at 17:47 when Beefcake pinned Dynamite after Valentine dropped a double axe handle off the top behind the referee’s back as Dynamite had Beefcake covered; after the bout, the Bulldogs cleared the champions from the ring and kept possession of one of the title belts
Prime Time Wrestling – 11/12/85: Randy Savage pinned Scott McGhee with the flying elbowsmash at 6:13; prior to the bout, Savage was escorted ringside by Miss Elizabeth, who then returned backstage
Prime Time Wrestling – 2/23/87: WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan pinned King Kong Bundy with a powerslam at 6:11 after the challenger hit the corner; prior to the bout, Bobby Heenan escorted Bundy to the ring and then returned backstage (Hulkamania 2)
